街に繰り出し、工芸屋台は走ります。

Become a pioneer of a new tradition
Traditional craftsmanship related to Nagoya’s Buddhist altars.
Communicating with more people about the skills
and sharing and enjoying the TE-A-WA-SE project with more people.
After 300 years of history, we now want to create a new history.
Our crafts stand, Kōgei Yatai, travels around the town.
“Tradition exists by continuing to change.”
To create a new tradition, we keep communicating.
閉じた場所から、拓かれた場所へ
きっかけは、プロジェクトメンバーからの、
「ショールームが欲しいね」という話でした。
空いているスペースを探しましたが、
当然、いい立地では、家賃も高い。
では、奥まったところにつくって、
果たして人が来てくれるのか。。
そんな中、誰かが言い出したのが「外に出る」
閉じた空間で、誰かが訪れるのを待つのではなく、
拓かれた場所で、会いたい人に会いにいく。
そのためのツールとして、
「屋台」という装置があったら・・・
そんな空想から生まれた工芸屋台。
名古屋仏壇を伝えにいきます。
From a closed place to an open space
It all started with a single comment from a member who wanted a showroom.
We worked hard to find an available space,
but rents are expensive in good locations.
Will people come if we built it inconspicuously?
When we were stuck, someone came up with the idea of “going outside.”
Instead of waiting for someone to come and visit a closed space,
we go out on our own and meet the people we want to meet.
If I had a mobile stand to do such things…..
This crafts stand was born from such an idea.
We will communicate the craftsmanship of Nagoya’s Buddhist altars.
